Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Fundraising Expertise: Utilize your extensive experience in fundraising to secure capital from strategic investors, institutions, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, aligning with fund's goals.
  2. Network Building: Build and expand a strong network with HNIs, Family Offices, Strategic Investors, and Institutions, fostering connections that benefit our portfolio companies.
  3. Primary Capital Raise: Secure primary capital for our portfolio companies in subsequent funding rounds to support their growth and development.
  4. Founder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with portfolio company founders to refine their fundraising story, making it appealing to external investors.
  5. Provide guidance and support to help them secure necessary funding.
  6. Fund Network Management: Provide regular updates to the fund network on each portfolio company's progress and achievements, ensuring transparency and alignment with the fund's objectives.
  7. Fund Marketing: Consistently market the fund and portfolio to potential investors, enhancing Tomorrow Capital's visibility in the market.
  8. Transaction Closures: Independently close a minimum of 2-3 transactions every year, demonstrating your ability to lead and complete deals.

Experience & Education Required

  1. Education: Postgraduate degree from a Tier 1 B-school.
  2. Experience: We are seeking a seasoned professional capable of spearheading fundraising efforts from high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and family offices to establish and manage a dedicated fund. This pivotal role entails not only raising capital but also overseeing its strategic deployment across our portfolio companies. Additionally, the candidate will be instrumental in securing external funding for our portfolio companies, leveraging their expertise and network within the investment community.
  3. Ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Investment Banking (IB) or Venture Capital/Private Equity (VC/PE) funds, demonstrating a track record of successfully raising substantial funds from HNIs and family offices. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships within these affluent networks are paramount. This position offers an opportunity to drive significant growth and strategic impact within our investment initiatives.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with founders, refine their fundraise story, and support their funding efforts.
  5. Entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to achieving fundraising goals.

Deal Experience:

  1. Proven track record of leading and closing at least 10 deals end to end. We require a deal sheet showcasing your previous transactions.
  2. Knowledge of the consumer brands sector is a plus.
  3. Network: Strong networking skills and the ability to build and maintain valuable connections in the investment community.
  4. Location: The position is based in Mumbai, India, and may require travel as needed.
